Decree of Destiny
Lore for Might & Magic X: Legacy Video Game
author: Lord Caneghem
The Gods have spoken, a decree was signed,
The fates and prophets didn't seem to mind,
They'd put a conqueror on the path of war.
And so began their journey, a simple party of four.
A group of raiders, to ordained Destiny blind,
The hordes marched on! Would our champions suffice?
To unite their clans against such wicked device.
Thwarting the vile progress of well planned invasion,
There are Gods without love for any mortal persuasion.
And challenging heaven comes not without price...
(The rest is a collection of notes and scribbles, sometimes crossed-out. Although promising, this poem was clearly a work in progress.)
