Little China Subdistrict Info

Little China is an game zone for players with 1-8 experience levels.

Little China, in the 40s, this part of Watson aspired to be the next City Center. Corps invested heavily in the area, putting up towers and cutting-edge clinics such as the Med Center. That's where you slapped down your credchip for implants – that is, if you wanted to get them legally. But soon enough this neighborhood became populated with immigrants, mostly from China, hence the name. Over the next few decades, the district became increasingly more populated and diverged from its original plans. Today Little China is considered a poor district, but its food, smells, neon lights, tucked-away little shops and overall atmosphere draws the crowds. Even low-ranking corpos drop in to gamble and put eurodollar bills into thongs. The sight of suits strolling past the homeless also shouldn't take anyone here by surprise.

Main Jobs starting in Little China

Main Jobs

Main Jobs in Cyberpunk 2077 are quests related to the main plot of the game. You can check the order in which they appear on the diagram Main Jobs.

04

The Ripperdoc

ACT 1

Jackie Welles Viktor Ripperdoc

Viktor's clinic

Jackie Welles takes you to Viktor Ripperdoc to try to fix your cyberware problems and install new implants by the way.

If you're on the hunt for chrome, you won't find a better ripper than Viktor. Well, all right, maybe you could, but you sure as hell can't afford them, chica. Not like Vik can afford you either, but you're lucky he's got a soft spot – says you've got a good heart, like him. But before we pay ol' Vik a visit, we gotta decide what comes next.

05

The Ride

ACT 1

Jackie Welles Dexter DeShawn

Misty's Esoterica Dexter's Limousine

Fixer Dexter DeShawn invites you to a conversation about a new assignment, which takes place during a ride in his limousine.

High risk, high reward – as Dexter DeShawn likes to say. First rule of The Afterlife. So this is it, V. Time to go in, grab the bull by the horns and make a name for ourselves. But first, let's hear what Dex DeShawn has to say.

08

The Heist

ACT 1

Jackie Welles Dexter DeShawn T-Bug Yorinobu Arasaka Saburo Arasaka Goro Takemura Adam Smasher

Afterlife Konpeki Plaza in Arasaka Waterfront No-Tell Motel

An important mission where you have to steal a relic from Yorinobu's Penthouse in Konpeki Plaza, which could go wrong ...

There's only one door you gotta open in Night City. And that's the door to The Afterlife. Once you cross into that world, peeps'll step aside for you everywhere. Dex couldn't have chosen a better place to pregame before the heist, am I right? Afterlife's a sign for us, chica.

Saburo Arasaka murdered by his own son - and in front of our goddamn eyes! Know what, V? Forget what I said about gettin' into the Afterlife - first we need to find a way to get the fuck out of this shitstorm before Arasaka spec ops jump down our throats.

So that's how it ends... at least for me. In the backseat of a limo with hot corporate lead wedged in my gut. You know, all things considered, that ain't a half-bad way for a Welles to go. Most sons of Heywood top out without all those fireworks. But what can I say, Night City's chewed up names way bigger than mine before. Not you, though - you still got work to do. Cut a fat deal (heh) with Dex in my honor. And don't piss it all away in vain, or I'll be rollin' in my grave until I hit the east coast. I won't give you a minute of goddamn peace, mano. This is the last favor we owe ourselves.

19

Ghost Town

ACT 2

Rogue Panam Palmer Mitch Scorpion Nash

Afterlife Aldecaldo Camp Rocky Ridge Sunset Motel

While searching for information on Anders Hellman, you meet up with Rogue, who directs you to Panama. You must help Panama that she will help you.

Wanna track down Hellman? Start at the Afterlife. Sure, the place has changed over the years, but one thing never will: you got a question you just can’t shake, head to The Afterlife. Always someone there to whisper the answer in your ear... for the right price. And if that someone’s Rogue - shit, I wouldn’t miss this for the world<

Rogue's alive and kicking at The Afterlife. That part doesn't surprise me - but why she's throwing you at some ex-nomad who can't get her shit together? Rogue's working an angle here, I just can't see it. Fuck, maybe I'm just being paranoid. That or Rogue was telling the truth - Panam's all you can afford right now. Oh well, just talk to her and find Hellman. No point wasting time on conspiracy theories.

You have just buy gun marked with quest marker.

When a person dies, the world keeps chugging along without skipping a beat. Eventually, all traces of that person fade into nothing. Long story short, that's why your wheels were towed. Want my opinion? The best way to convince the world you're alive and kicking is to get your wheels back. Hell, maybe it's not the most ambitious goal, but for a minor-league merc like you, at least it's a start.

Gigs

01

Gig: Playing for Keeps

  • Gig type: Search and Recover
  • Objective: Jacob Lamb's implant
  • Location: Kashuu Hanten Bar, Clarendon St.

Got a call from Jacob Lamb – friend of mine, director, from the good ol' days. Ex-director, I should say. Ever since Bushido X made a loss of a billion, the guy never set foot on a set again.

Jacob makes a living playing cards. One time he tried his luck at an illegal Tyger Claws casino at the back of the Kashuu Hanten eatery. Things weren't looking good, but instead of getting up from the table, he waited until he'd recoup. First went all his money, then his watch, wedding ring... And finally, one of his optics.

Jacob wants his implant back. Sending you the coordinates of the casino where he lost it. AFAIK, the eye's still there. How you get it is your biz, not mine.

  • Go to the Kashuu Hanten bar in Little China.
  • Blackmail the bartender to give you the implant.
  • Wait for the bartender to bring the implant.
  • Deposit the implant in the Drop Point.

or

  • Find the bar staff key.
  • Find Jacob Lamb's implant.
  • Steal Jacob Lamb's eye.
  • Deposit the implant in the Drop Point.
02

Gig: Bloodsport

  • Gig type: SOS: Merc Needed
  • Objective: Roh Chi-Won
  • Location: Tyger Claws dojo on Brookland St.

Matter's urgent. My client, Macidew Coolidge (you might recognize him from his show,"Boxathon," on N54 from a few years back) is looking for someone to get his coach back from the Tyger Claws.

Here's the deal. Macidew got himself into a debt hole. Looking to climb out the easy way, he cut a deal with the Tygers. They gave him a wad of cash to go down in the next fight. And what did he do with it? He goes to the bookie incognito and bets on his own win. Next thing you know, he KO's his opponent in the second round and blasts off into the sunset in an AV.

It was happily ever after for Macidew, until they kidnapped his coach, Roh Chi-Won. They're threatening to kill him if Macidew doesn't come back to Night City. Macidew doesn't want his coach's death to weigh on his conscience, so he got in touch with me and I got in touch with you. Sending you the coords for where they're keeping Roh Chi-Won. Try getting to him without tripping the alarm. Hostages and shootouts don't mix well. Good luck.

  • Go to the Tyger Claws' dojo.
  • Go down to the basement.
  • Find out where Roh is being held.
  • Help Roh get outside.
  • Request a transport from the fixer.
  • Escort Roh to the fixer's transport.
03

Gig: The Heisenberg Principle

Destroy the glitter lab.

  • Gig type: Agent Saboteur
  • Objective: Destroy the glitter lab
  • Location: Building on Rovinj St.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard of Glitter. Word is that if you take it, you're hooked for life, but apparently it's easier to OD on than neo-fentanyl.

It was only a matter of time before some zit-faced, rich kid fried his skull sponge. Kid's mother was Arati Kapoor, co-owner of the Masala Studios restaurant franchise. Needless to say, she's pretty torn up about it, but she's not the kind to wallow in her grief – she's got a plan.

The lab where glitter is cooked has to be wiped off the face of the earth. And if some of those dipshits making it expire on the spot? I think you know the answer.

Flicking you the coords now. FYI – the place might be guarded by Tyger Claws.

  • Enter the building.
  • Enter the basement.
  • Find the lab.
  • Destroy the equipment used to make glitter.
  • Leave the area.

Besides the two thousand apartments identical to V's, this Watson megablock also features luxury penthouses on its upper floors. Further down, you can find various service points: stores, market stalls, a gym, even a shooting range. To a certain extent, megabuildings are truly self-sufficient, self-contained ecosystems – many of their long-term residents (especially netrunners) haven't stepped outside in years.

02

Afterlife

As the old saying goes "There is only one path in Night City worth walking: the one that leads to the Afterlife." Once you make it here, sooner or later, everything else opens up to you. The Afterlife is an iconic bar where the who's who of mercs and first-rate fixers gather to kick back or conduct biz. It's also a major nerve center for the city. This is place where the biggest deals get cut and the job rewards have the most zeros tacked on. Stop here to spot big names such as Rogue, Dexter DeShawn and that guy who "drank with Morgan Blackhand once"... Speaking of , it's said Blackhand's ghost still wanders the bar, switching off the safeties of customers' holstered guns. Of course, it's probably best to check that out for yourself. That is... provided you've earned enough street cred to get you through the front door.

NCART

NCART (Night City Area Rapid Transit) is the Night Corp-owned city public transportation system, which includes both a metro and streetcars. There are currently six lines connecting all the districts, although expansions to the network have been in the works for years.

Each NCART station has its own unique atmosphere and – as its passengers note – unique fragrance. NCART can be dangerous at night and during rush hour, as the gangs, mercs and regular criminals of the city see the stations and tunnels as a natural extention of Night City's streets. On the other hand, they say you don't really know the city until you've taken a ride on the NCART.

It used to be people only desired bread and circuses. By the 21st century, however, automobiles were added to the list. Without a car, you can't get to work, drop of the kids at kindergarten or escape spontaneous turf wars. The Thorton Galena first hit roads in 2031 following a government stimulus to pump out affordable cars and give Americans a boost following the recession. As Thorton didn't have much eperience producing small cars at the time, the company bought engines for the Galena from India's Mahir Motors. Unfortunately, the collaboration was not considered a success, with the Galena yielding unremarkable performance and even less remarkable sales. Still, it drives – and that's the most important thing.
