"My son is in danger as long as he stays in the wasteland. I have to find him and bring him back to safety."

Go to [010] and talk to Caja.

Caja Talk to her about son.

"The Bastion at Carakis isn't far. It would be a good place to take Dex to keep him safe."

Go find Dex, he is near Berserkers Camp to NW

Abandoned Farm

Talk to Asgar and get permission to take Dex.

Talk to Dex and join him.

Bastion

You have to bring Dex to the gates of the Bastion.
