01 ELEX Starting Location

Here you start your journey in the world of Magalan in ELEX Universe.

You are Jax, renowned Alb Commander.

You were betrayed by Kallax, abandoned in the wilds away from your base on enemy territory. The looters took away your equipment and weapons.

You have with you:

Iron Bar This is your only weapon at the moment.

Small Healing Potions x2 - They treat minor wounds.

There are several plants around, collect them.

TIP: You can carry an unlimited amount of equipment with you. So collect absolutely all the items you see. Most of them will be useful in your favor. You will be able to sell, process or use them.

You will be able to return later to this location so you do not have to worry about missing something.

Survive

Magalan is a dangerous place to be alone. Elex corrupted creatures, reavers, factions and that's before the fact my own people want me dead. I have to reach one of the Free People's settlements So I can get Weapons, equipment and take stock for what should do next.

Arrows are stuck in a tree, take it will be useful later

03 Wall

Climb this Wall and draw your weapon.

04 First Enemy

Kill Rat. Before you enter the building, search the area.

Climb up the hill. There is a small cave with arrows and amulet. Watch out for another rat

07 Enter Old Observatory

There are few one shot small rats inside building. Kill them all.

Near entrance to the left there is room with lot of stuff. Pick all you will find.

Cultivator Bow your first range weapon. You will need Arrows to shoot with it

Do not worry about the upper floors, you will be able to explore them in later in game.

Go straight to the exit on the level of this floor. You will have to kill another Rat.

Finish the next Mass Rat

That creature must go. It blocks my Way.

Kill Big Rat.

09 Exit to balcony

Use the elevator

The way down leads me out of the observatory.

Campaign of Vengeance

Kallax was waiting for me. Why else would he have been there right when I crashed? Someone tried to kill me. And if they are prepared to go to those lengths then they won't stop until I am dead. It will be a long Way through many adversities, but I must find answers. I have to find my old strength if I am to stand a chance against Kallax.

10 Elevator

Go down with elevator.

11 Jet Pack

Jet Pack pick it up. From now you can jump high and descend slowly from high altitude

Jump up with Jet Pack.

12 Exit outside

Enter Edan

Edan. The Land of Berserkers.

Duras this is first NPC you meet. He is important. He will be your Companion in the future. He will hepl you to get to the nearest settlement. Do not reject his help.

Come to him and talk to him. He is friendly and will offer you help. Accept it and go with him to Goliet settlement.

Follow Duras East

The Berserker Duras offered to lead me to the city of Goliet. should follow him closely.

Contact

There are some Alb raiders in the area. They could be useful to me, or they could report me to Xacor. I can look to get equipment and information in Goliet, or find the Albs. But, if find the Albs...I might have to fight them.

Stolen Equipment

I was robbed while I was unconscious in the mountains. could really use that equipment right now. I should listen out for clues to who it could have been.

Rusty Axe on the bridge near Old Observatory, take it, it is a bit better weapon.

Follow Duras to the Ruins

The Berserker Duras offered to lead me to the city of Goliet. should follow him closely.

When you reach the Ruins, talk to Duras. You will learn more about factions.

When Duras lets you choose whether to go to Ruin or to the Village, choose Ruins. You will be able to visit this site with Duras as an escort.

Ruins are Small Camp Location.

ELEX Map Legend

	Location / POI Significant places in the game world are numbered on the map. Each number on the map has its equivalent in the description below the map. The number can mean a specific point in the game, as well as an area or building. The sequence of numbers shows suggested order of visiting locations.
	Quest Starter Location This is location with NPC, item or actions which are starting a quest or mission. Some quests activate automatically, some need to talk to an NPC or raise / use an item.
	Teleporter The Magalan world of ELEX has a network of teleporters. You must activate each of the teleporters before you can use it. To activate a teleporter, you must find him and reach him on foot. Then you will be able to fast travel between any two activated teleports.
	Ability Trainer There are four types of main ability trainers: Combat Trainer, Survival Trainer, Crafting Trainer, Charisma Trainer and three faction specific trainers: Berserker Trainer, Outlaw Trainer, Cleric Trainer.
	Trader or Merchant They act as shops where you can buy the equipment you need.
	Trader / Trainer This NPC is both a ability trainer and a shopkeeper.
	Interactive NPC Not all NPCs are marked on maps. Such a symbol is only for more important NPCs and those with whom we can take a more meaningful interaction. This is a sign for friendly or neutral NPCs.
	Quest / Mission Item Location This icon indicates the location of item needed to complete the task / quest / mission or start a new quest.
	Normal Item / Location Pointer This icon indicates places, objects and devices of normal importance, but significant in the context of this zone. Not all items are marked on maps, the marker means those that are more difficult to notice or interesting.
	Special Item / Location Pointer This is for marking, special, interesting or worth gathering items or locations. These are the ones that you should collect.
	Aggressive enemy / monster. Not all opponents are marked on maps. This mark indicates the opponents relevant in the context of the place and / or threatening player at a level that is relevant to the level of the environment.
	Workbench With the right skill and the right recipe you can put gems into sockets here to modify weapons, brew potions or craft jewellery.
	Ore Veins You can mine Ore Veins using Jackhammer.
	Continuous damage zones Areas where you get constant poisonous, radiation or freezing damage.
