Landing Platforms are round platforms, often placed high, on which you have to land in the middle while flying on a broom and wait a moment for them to activate. Landing Platforms are not marked on the in-game map. They are only available from the air, so you will be able to find them when you have a broom.
Reward for activation all 20 Landing Platforms are 4 Gear pieces.

Any of the Hogwarts regions except Forbidden Forest, South Sea Bog and Coastal Cavern has at least one Landing Platform. They are most often placed high up in remote places.
