Captain Attiring asked me to seek out Vigrod Wraithbane at Shor's Stone to help him defend it against the Reachmen.
I've breached the barrier to the mine beneath Shor's Stone. The Reachmen have assaulted the foreman and his crew. I need to find the foreman, Gandis, and figure out what the Reachmen are doing here.
The Reachmen attacked Shor's Stone and brought the giant Sinmur back to life. Now they've overrun Fallowstone Hall, an ancient seat of the Companions. Vigrod wants my help regaining the Hall.
A scout sent by Centurion Gjakil has found me near Fallowstone Hall. The scout reports Reachmen movement near Vernim Woods.
The military has tracked Stral Blackthroat, the leader of the Reachmen, to Vernim Wood. When they arrived, they found Worm Cultists performing dark rituals with his warriors.
The Reachmen are being magically augmented by the Worm Cult. They must be stopped.
Our final goal at Vernim must be to kill Stral and end the threat of the Reachmen. Unfortunately he's protected by a death shroud in the central ruin.
I've put a stop to the threat of the Reachmen, but the threat to the Rift is far from over. The Worm Cult is massing in force, and the settlements west of Nimalten need to be warned.
I've arrived in Nimalten to find the city under threat. Thane Fjora was attacked by her houscarl. Aera Earth-Turner, my old friend from Bleakrock Isle, is leading an investigation.
A group of researchers were ambushed by the Worm Cult at Pinepeak Caverns.
Netapatuu and his colleagues came to Pinepeak Caverns to consult with the spirit of Hakra, one of Ysgramor's Companions. Worm Cultists attacked and drove them out. The cultists cannot be allowed to gain control of Hakra's spirit.
I met a Dunmer fleeing a Worm Cult attack at Taarengrav. He told me the Worm Cult attacked a nearby dig site, hoping to unlock an ancient puzzle.
The Ebonheart Pact has come together under King Jorunn's command to battle the Worm Cult at the ruins of Honrich Tower.
Even though we've won a victory over the Worm Cult, Jorunn the Skald-King tells me that Sinmur is headed toward Riften. I should follow in the wake of the giant.
The city of Riften has been devastated by Sinmur's assault. The town guard is overwhelmed trying to help all the refugees. They're asking everyone to help with the recovery effort.
The people of Riften have been brought inside their shattered walls. While Sinmur is gone, however, Riften's people may face other threats.
The Worm Cult has barred the route to Trolhetta. King Jorunn has asked me to clear the way.
We're almost there. We must fight through Worm Cultists to reach Sinmur and defeat him!
Wayshrines allow free, instantaneous travel between wayshrines that have been discovered and unlocked. You can also travel directly to any unlocked wayshrine from anywhere in the world for a small amount of gold.

Treasure Maps can be found in game as a loot or can be obtained with the Collector's Editions. Each map shows a place where you can dig up a treasure chest. You can only do this if you have a map.

Striking Locales are places of interest within the world. Discovering all of the Striking Locales in a zone will award that zone's Pathfinder achievement.

Shalidor's Library Books are scattered throughout the world. These books are identified by their distinctive purple glow. Discovering these books will improve your Mages Guild rank and advance the associated skill line.
Theoretically, the Shalidor's Library Books assigned to a given Zone should be found within that area. Practically as the areas available to players expand, it starts to get mixed up and the specific Lore Book can be found in other parts of Tamriel as well.
There are 29 Shalidor's Library Books assigned to The Rift. Some of them can also be found in other Zones. Each of the Lore Books has more than one probable spot where you can find it. Discovering them is necessary for Zone Completion.
