ACT 2: The Price od the Past - The Story So Far ...
Turning to the Veil Jumpers, the team discovered that the gods intended to sacrifice kidnapped Dalish elves to raise Elgar'nan's Archdemon. They did save the Dalish, but Elgar'nan had still revived his dragon-thrall, making him invulnerable.
Solas provided a clue for what the gods planned next. They needed a ritual to prepare a dagger that could tear open the Fade and unleash a new Blight. Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain thought to use it to fashion a new empire and fix a broken world, but it would only create a blighted nightmare. It was imperative that the team learn where the gods' ritual would take place.

Don't do the Story Quests you get now, go around all the Companions and talk to them. Do all the Companion Quests and Region Quests first.
