Pearly and Precious Walkthrough

"Pearly and Precious" is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker and part of the Sanzhani Questline. You can start it right after finishing the "Good Home" quest. It counts as one of the favors you complete for the Sanzhani faction.

• Head to northern Boar's Back near the bridge to Briar Sloughs. Your first objective is to investigate the abandoned camp.
• Tracks lead you deeper into the woods where you spot a Sanzhani pulling teeth from a corpse.
• Have a quick chat with her, then follow the trail to a nearby bandit camp.
• Kill the bandits.
• Loot the chest to find a Manual.
• Grab the Shiny Tooth from a body and bring it back to the Sanzhani.
• Talk to her again to wrap up the quest.

After finishing the task, this specific Sanzhani turns into a Vendor who buys Shiny Tooths. More importantly, she sells the Bundle of Silk Threads you need during the "A Bulwark Against Darkness" quest to forge the legendary Arbiter Armour. Once your conversation ends, she relocates to the Yawning Burrow.

Sanzhani Questline

The Sanzhani Questline is an independent side quest chain centered around the Sanzhani. These are small, malicious, and mysterious moth-like fairies living in burrows. Finishing the entire quest chain lets you rewind time by 1 full day (16 time segments).

• "Good Home": This starts in the Svartrau Outskirts and acts as the beginning of the chain.
• "Letters to Lunka": An extra quest that triggers automatically after you finish "Good Home." It weaves through the rest of the Sanzhani quests. You can send 5 letters to Lunka, earning the right to send one letter for every favor you complete for the Sanzhani.
• "Burrow Sorrows": A Sanzhani favor where you have to clear a cave of Kobolds and recover a charm in the southern part of Boar's Back.
• "Pearly and Precious": Another Sanzhani favor. You need to wipe out a bandit camp stealing teeth in northern Boar's Back.
• "Tiny Dancer": A Sanzhani favor tasking you with freeing a Sanzahan from a cage and finding treasure in Svartrau City.
• "Come Hither": A Sanzhani favor where you must kill Murohn inside the Sanzhani Burrow located in The Silts.

Quest Lore & Objectives

There's something going on in this forest - something intriguing. Might be worth stepping off the beaten track ...

• Investigate the abandoned camp using Focus Mode
• Follow the drag marks using Focus Mode
• Follow the footsteps
• Confront the bandits
• Return to the sanzhana

I dealt with the bandits who traded with the sanzhana. She didn't seem too concerned with their fate - all she cared about were teeth, which she'll willingly buy off me from now on.
