Scouting Towers play a major role in the game, letting you scan the surrounding area for nearby hidden activities.
You can only access them at night using Vampire skills like Shadowstep or Planeshift.
Before you start exploring a region, track down its local Scouting Tower and climb to the top to scan the area. Aside from the landmarks you spot directly from the tower, question marks will appear on your in-game map. These markers highlight hidden and undiscovered locations across the zone.
