With little time left to stop the Dread Wolf's ritual from destroying the world, Varric and the team race through the demon-haunted Arlathan Forest.

After fighting the Demon, the party approaches the Ritual Site.
You see Solas NPC performing a ritual.
Let Varrick talk to Solas alone "You can do it".
Defeat the demons
While Varrick talks to Solas, the rest of the team fends off the demon attacks.
You must choose who will repel the demons' attacks and who will go to interrupt the ritual.

Either way, someone needs to stay back and deal with the demons.

Statues
Follow the side path around the Ritual Site, find the wooden pillars supporting the Statues and destroy one of them.
The ritual is interrupted, Varric is injured, the companion who helped you take down the statues is also injured, everything explodes, and Rook is knocked unconscious.
Fade
Rook was knocked unconscious and Solas dragged him to Fade in his dream. There you resume your conversation with Solas.
COMPLETED THE END OF THE BEGINNING STORY QUEST
Varric and the team have chased Solas, the Dread Wolf of ancient elven legend, through the streets of Minrathous, fighting Venatori cultists and wild demons along the way. After traveling through a magical mirror known as an eluvian, the heroes find themselves in Arlathan Forest, where the Dread Wolf's ritual is almost complete.
While Varric distracted Solas, the rest of the team sabotaged the ritual, culminating in a chaotic explosion that left the Dread Wolf trapped in the Fade. But from the realm of dreams, Solas has delivered a dire warning: while he is now imprisoned, two other elven gods, Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain, have escaped back into the world. He insists that these blighted gods will destroy the world if left unchecked. Now, with Varric injured, it falls to the rest of the team to determine just how far the Dread Wolf's warning can be trusted...
The next step is the Lighthouse Map where Rook wakes up from unconsciousness.
