Griffon Aerie Map in Dragon Age Veilguard is located in Anderfels Region, in Chapter 6 you visit Griffon Aerie for A Warden's Best Friend Quest.
You will visit Griffon Aerie Map to complete "A Warden's Best Friend" Story Quest which you will receive in The Lighthouse Map in Chapter 6.
The way to Griffon Aerie is through Crossroads: Beacon Island where you will need to board a boat at Spirit Dock which will take you to Crossroads: Heights of Athim Map where you will need to enter High Anderfels Eluvian.
A WARDEN'S BEST FRIEND STORY QUEST
Crossroads - Meet Harding's Warden contacts in High Anderfels.
With the threat of darkspawn and blight brought on by the gods, the team must seek out Grey Wardens who are more sympathetic to their cause.
The team needs allies among the Grey Wardens. Fortunately, Harding has contacts willing to hear her out. The team must travel to the rocky cliffs of the Anderfels and persuade these Wardens that the gods are real, deadly, and already on the move.
Upon arrival at High Anderfels you meet Evka and Antoine, talk to them.

COMPLETED A WARDEN'S BEST FRIEND STORY QUEST
While seeking an ally in the Grey Wardens, the.team met Davrin and his young griffon, Assan. But disaster struck when a terrifying monster, the Gloom Howler, stormed the griffon aerie and kidnapped Assan's brothers and sisters. Davrin agreed to join the team on the condition that they continue to hunt the Gloom Howler and rescue the missing griffons.
Right after the Quest ends, your companions arrive and tell you the bad news. You can only save one of the cities Minrathous or Treviso.
