Outlaws Main Quest

Outlaws is the Main Quest (02) in Star Wars Outlaws. To start Outlaws, you have to first complete the previous: Beginnings Main Quest.

Starting Location is: front of The Broken Hoof cantina in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica after Beginnings Main Quest.

Bram has a lead on a job with a new crew. It's high-risk but the job will get Kay enough money to get off-world. Considering Sixth Kin are looking for her, it seems like the only option left.

Manual save and in-game Map are not available during this Quest.

Meet up with the crew (00:00)

Kay hides behind crates outside the entrance to The Broken Hoof. Sixth Kin Enforcers search the square for her. Kay must escape and meet a new crew to complete the final mission on Cantonica assigned by Bram.

  • Go to the side alley that Nix points out to you and run towards the yellow marker;
  • Climb the wall;
  • Jump across the rooftops to avoid the guards down the street, use the grappling hook;
  • Squeeze between the pipes and continue to escape pursuit until you reach the vehicle with your crew.

You reach the vehicle with your Crew. You are greeted by Dennion, who gives you the details of your mission.

The task turns out to be more risky than it seemed before. Kay is to break into the vault of Sliro, the head of the Zerek Besh Syndicate, located in the Westhill Palace.

Dennion gives Kay the override password to open the vault.

Kay gets out of the vehicle at the mansion.

Dennion - Dennion is a rebel spy who was conscripted by Imperial security to fight insurgents on their home world. Dennion tried to convince everyone that they had to conform to survive, but that changed when they found themselves standing over the bodies of friends who had taken up arms against the Empire. Dennion switched sides, and although they are filled with regrets, they are now seeing a freedom they couldn't imagine.

Zerek Besh - Zerek Besh is a new crime syndicate in the galactic underworld. Led by the wealthy Canto Bight socialite Sliro, the syndicate has had immense success undercutting the competition, disposing of enemies and establishing lucrative smuggling routes. With expertly trained enforcers, and suspiciously deep pockets, Zerek Besh is involved in a variety of illegal activities, such as smuggling, extortion and gambling.

Sliro Ruback - Sliro is a crime lord and leader of the Zerek Besh crime syndicate which he runs from a palace in Canto Bight. Sliro is often seen mingling with the rich and powerful in the city's casino district, using both charm and intimidation to gain their favor. While he and Zerek Besh are widely known in the underworld, Sliro has always managed to stay influential among Canto Bight's elite.

Westhill Palace - Westhill Palace is a luxurious residence up in the Westhill cliffs that has had numerous wealthy residents over the years with its high-secure vault and underground starship hangar. In recent years, the palace is the residence of socialite Sliro Ruback, the gentleman crime lord of the Zerek Besh syndicate. When Sliro is not out socializing with the galaxy's elite in the Casino District, he will often entertain guests in the palace.

Break into the mansion (03:50)

The crew dropped you off some distance from the mansion, follow the canyon towards cliff.

  • Jump along the rock ledges along the cliff, climb the walls, use the grappling hook until you reach the tower;
  • Climb the wall to the top of the tower and enter the garden surrounding the mansion;
  • The park in front of the mansion entrance is full of guards. Your team will set off fireworks to distract them, but Kay will still have to eliminate several enemies;
  • Sneak toward the entrance to the building, eliminating the guards;
  • Enter building.

To sneak or not to sneak?

In Star Wars Outlaws there is quite a lot of freedom in this regard. The creators of the game prepared the plot in such a way that the brave Kay would slip between opponents, eliminate them from hiding, or send Nix after them. You can hide in tall grass, take cover, sneak slowly.

In reality it does not always look so beautiful and when you are discovered you will face an open fight.

So if you can, try stealth techniques but don't worry if you don't succeed.

Break into the vault (11:46)

Your mission is to break into the vault, but before you do that, you have to find it. Head into the building, avoiding guards and security cameras.

  • Use the data spike on the door;
  • Inside mansion, collect items and currency for your inventory;
  • You can remove the first energy barrier by following the electric wire (ask Nix to scan the surroundings), turn off the power in the next room;
  • You see a room with traces of a fight, this is the remains of the cinematic intro scene at the beginning of the game;
  • Bypass the security camera by going under the wall or asking Nix to help you distract;
  • Eliminate the two guards on the stairs;
  • You must disable the second energy barrier protecting the entrance to the elevator;
  • Sabotage the switch on the right side, above the camera;
  • Enter the side corridor and Deactivate the switch on the wall;
  • You will find the switch for the second barrier in the room at the end;
  • Enter the now open elevator;
  • Eliminate the guard in the corridor in front of the elevator;
  • The vault is protected by the third energy barrier, you must bypass it;
  • Find the room with the guard who is reporting problems on the radio, by going through the side corridor, and eliminate him;
  • Access computer and try to Slice it.

Slicing - Hacking Terminals

Hacking into terminals is another mini game you will find in SWO. Slicing involves finding the correct sequence of symbols, using the hints we get while guessing.

The difficulty of Slicing increases with the progression of the story, so if it becomes too tiring for you, you can make it easier or even turn it off in the game settings.

  • Enter the Vault using the password given over the radio by Dennion.

Inside Vault (23:42)

The action inside the Vault begins to heat up. Kay finds Asara inside. Your crews arrive and everything goes wrong. The companions turn out to be members of the Rebel Alliance and Kay is sweetly put to sleep by a taser.

Asara Deyn - Asara realized early that he could read people and talk himself out of anything. Asara idolized his sister Calys, and as she organized.a burgeoning rebel cell, Asara helped by spying on Imperial patrols. When Calys said she wanted them to leave and join the fight among the stars, Asara was scared and told their parents. Calys slipped away in the night and died in battle, leaving Asara feeling immense guilt.

Rebel Alliance - The Rebel Alliance is a resistance movement engaged in a civil war against the Galactic Empire. Following a major win with the destruction of the Death Star, the rebels are now on the backfoot after a devastating defeat on Hoth. Now the rebel fleet is scattered and hidden, and rebel agents attempt to regroup to pick up the fight once again against the Empire.

Kay's dream about her mother (24:44)

Kay remembers in her dream her childhood in Canto Bight and the day her mother Riko Vess gave her Kay's Lucky Chip charm as a gift.

Riko Vess - Riko Vess is Kay's mother and a talented thief and slicer. Riko raised Kay in the Worker's District in Canto Bight and taught her daughter everything from slicing to lockpicking and grifting, with Riko seeing no other choice to survive in the unforgiving Worker's District. At some point, Riko decided to leave Kay behind and her whereabouts since then are unknown.

Unpleasant awakenings (26:17)

Kay wakes up in the company of Sliro and his bodyguards. The conversation is not pleasant. After a brief scuffle and with Nix's help, Kay gets rid of her unwanted company.

Escape from the mansion (27:09)

  • It's high time to run away and leave the mansion.
  • Eliminate the guards in the corridor.
  • Before the elevator, take the corridor to the left.
  • At the end of the corridor, in the room on the right, you will find a hatch in the floor, open it and enter the shaft.
  • The fan blocking the further corridor can be turned off by shooting the generators under the ceiling.
  • Before the next fan, enter the small shaft on the right.
  • You will exit on the landing pad.
  • Steal the ship (30:24)

    You will emerge from the tunnels onto a landing pad full of guards.

    Don't try to eliminate them one by one, just shoot the fuel canisters, which will explode and kill the enemies.

    Pick up the Blaster Rifle dropped by the guard from the ground and lie in wait for the second wave of attackers. Kill them.

    Go inside the ship.

    Once you launch the ship, fire the ship cannon to clear your way out of the hangar.

    Once you're out of the atmosphere, Kay will select a previously planned hyper jump location, the Toshara Moon.

    This is the end of Outlaws Main Quest, the next one is Crashed Main Quest.
