New Tricks Main Quest

You can start New Tricks Main Quest, after Underworld Main Quest

You don't have to start it immediately, you can look around Mirogana a bit, but don't wait too long, the quest is simple and will open up more opportunities in Mirogana.

Starting location: Makal's Gambling Parlor, talk to Danka.

If during the Underworld Main Quest you chose the Pykes side and "Save the information for Gorak" you have free access to Pyke District and complete part of the quest there.

Kay has just gotten familiar with the underworld on Toshara but can probably get some more good advice from a veteran like Danka.

Speaking to Danka, Kay has realized that she needs to upgrade her tools to stay effective in the underworld. Danka has a lead on a merchant who can provide parts for Kay to upgrade her blaster.

Makal's Gambling Parlor (00:00)

Talk to Danka

Buy an ion casting from the pawn shop (01:22)

Go to Mirogana Market

Find Armorer Shop run by Belo Roovin and buy Ion Casting for 0 credits.

Steal the blaster part (02:47)

You have Steal the blaster part and you can do it in two locations, Pyke District or Crimson Dawn District.

If during Underworld Main Quest you chose Pykes side and "Save the information for Gorak" you have free access to Pyke District and do this part of the quest there.

Even though you have free access to Pyke District, no one has given you permission to steal, so you will have to do it secretly anyway.

Go to the marker on the map in Pyke District and find the side corridor.

You will enter the room through the ventilation shaft, but you must first disable the security camera.

After entering the room, you will find the chests on the right. Take the Ion Energy Converters.

Don't bother with the rest of the room now, there are a lot of cool things there, but save that for later.

Jaunta's Hope (06:06)

Now you need to go to Jaunta's Hope, it's a location in another part of Toshara.

Go to the Landing Pad, summon the Speeder ("y" on PC) and go to Jaunta's Hope as the marker on the radar and map shows you.

Jaunta's Hope - Jaunta's Hope is a small Tosharan settlement outside of Mirogana that was founded as a hub for mechanics and engineers to trade goods and repair ships. After the construction of the landing pads, the settlement has amassed numerous shops and homesteads, as well as a popular diner.

Assemble the ion module (07:54)

Use Workbench on spaceship Trailblazer to assemble ion module.

The Lost Steppe (08:42)

Your target location for the quest will appear on the map. Go there on your Speeder.

Steal the smuggler's cache (09:52)

To open the door, you'll need to shoot the generator through the window with your modified blaster set to ion mod.

Open container and take Tracking Transponder

Return to Danka to Daruda Diner in Jaunta's Hope (10:54)

You can Fast Travel to Jaunta's Hope Landing Pad

Go to Daruda Diner and talk to Danka

This is end of New Tricks Main Quest, fast travel to Mirogana.

Daruda Diner - Aside of the landing pad and the mechanical shops, Daruda Diner is the main attraction of Jaunta's Hope. The diner was originally run by a retired mechanic, but it has become a hotbed for criminal activity away from the peering eyes of the Pykes in Mirogana. The basement has been refurbished into a speakeasy where Imperials and criminals alike collude, making some of the most profitable deals on Toshara.
