ND-5 is like an older, caring but demanding brother to Kay.

ND-5 is a BX Commando droid from the Clone Wars who works as a personal enforcer droid for the crime lord Jaylen Vrax. ND-5 hides some of the damage with a large trench coat and tends to avoid talking about his past. He is forced to work with Jaylen due to an intrusive restraining bolt but he has come to accept that he is a mere tool to be used.
