Qi'ra grew up as a scrumrat in Corellia's criminal underworld. After working for Crimson Dawn and their leader Dryden Vos, Qi'ra eventually climbed her way up to the top as the new leader of the syndicate. While Crimson Dawn was assumed gone for years, they have recently resurfaced as a powerful player in the galactic underworld, with Qi'ra leading the syndicate with poise, intelligence and determination.
