Kay Vess is a young thief from Canto Bight's Worker's District who's running out of marks. Together with her pet and partner in crimė, a merqaal named Nix, Kay is looking for a big score to get them set for life. Ever since she was left behind by her mother, Kay has rented a room from a bar owner named Bram who is the closest to family she has left.
