Kobold Cave is tied to the Forge It Anew: Do Not Disturb quest. It belongs to the broader Forge It Anew questline in The Blood of Dawnwalker, which rewards you with one of the best weapons in the game: the legendary Imbued Sword of St. Mihai. You'll find the first Sword Shard here and pick up the next quests in the series.

Follow the bloody tracks from the Abandoned Campsite to reach the cave.

• Defeat the kobolds outside.
• Head in and clear out the rest of them inside.
• Inspect the wall painting depicting a great warrior fighting monsters.
• Grab a Blood-Soaked Journal from a nearby corpse.
• A second painting shows a map of Vale Sangora with three marked locations, including your current spot.

This triggers two new quests in the series to track down the remaining Sword Shards:

Forge It Anew: Executive Order Quest

Forge It Anew: Hostile Takeover Quest

At the back of the cave, you'll find a ruined shrine bearing the inscription "Sanctus Mihai".

Pick up the Silver Sword Shard (3 Time Segments). This completes the Forge It Anew: Do Not Disturb quest.

While travelling through the valley, I found a hidden trail marked by a hand symbol. Where does it lead?
