To open Revenant Dragon Gate in Crossroads: Beacon Island you have to finish "The Heart of Corruption" Crossroads Region Quest and collect all 3 Revenant Essences:
- Fiest from Crossroads: Converged City - Gate of Deep Sorrows kill Betrayal of Felassan.
- Second from Crossroads: Heights of Athim - Gate of Pale Reflections kill Fall of the Protector.
- Third Crossroads: Elvhenan's Haven - Gate of Parched Hopes kill Slaughter of the Pillars.
Inside Revenant Gate you will face Revenant Dragon.
He is a very demanding opponent, so even though you can enter Revenant Gate in Chapter 8, you may want to wait until Rook is at a higher level. After killing Revenant Dragon, this storyline in Crossroads ends, so there is no rush.
Inside Revenant Gate you will find:

Several areas in the Crossroads are sealed off by tendrils of blight. If the team wants to plumb the secrets of this place, they must find a way to cleanse the corruption.
