Crimson Desert Map: Bell Towers and Fog of War clearance zones
The Crimson Desert world map begins covered in "fog of war" clearing up naturally as you explore. But the fastest way to open up the map is by ringing all 8 Bells at the Bell Towers scattered across Pywel.
Each Bell unveils a specific map section, which usually doesn't match the region borders. On my map, you can check which Bell clears which part of the game world.
All you need to do is find the Bell Tower, climb to the top, and interact with the Bell. Once the fog is lifted, the map permanently shows geography, roads, rivers, and settlements. It also marks nearby points of interest with question marks, but you still need to visit them physically to see what’s actually there.
Ringing these bells is tied to the Priorin Forest Guardians faction. Completing all of them progresses the "Toll of Pywel" questline.
