"I threatened Gardar with violence if he didn't let me into the Fort. He was unimpressed and told me I should do something useful with my strength instead. Maybe he's right. I should go to the seedling field outside the Fort and see if Thorhild has any work. If I do some for her, maybe Gardar will let me in."
